Though the dunmer's power is probably the weakest in the game. In this game everything's so bright, even at night and inside tombs, that even torches are useless.ĭunmer and Nords at least have the advantage of an elemental resistance. Khajiit have night eye, but unless you turn the brightness way down, this will be completely unnessecary. But wild animals only really make viable followers up to level 4.Īrgonians are probably the worst race, since their only benefit is being able to stay underwater longer, which has no real use honestly. Wood elf can be useful the first few levels, due to your ability to turn animals into followers.
As an archer though, stamina probably won't matter much. Redguards can regenerate stamina quickly, which isn't too useful later on, but it does encourage you to use power attacks. Their power also reduces damage taken, so its most useful for melee characters.
Orcs on the other hand work better with classes that use weapons, because of their power. One of the few exceptions are the altmer, because of their increased magicka. The races overall don't cater to any particular play style.
